Types of Speaking

Engagements Available

Teen Emotion Regulation & Distress Tolerance

This is a 40 minute presentation often offered in schools where teens are introduced to basic emotion regulation and distress tolerance principles and skills.

Mindfulness - What is it? How do we do it? Why would we do it? Can we teach our children?

This is a 90 minute educational and experiential presentation that teaches the basic elements of Mindfulness and specifically teaches how to incorporate Mindfulness into their children’s lives. No previous experience necessary.

Teen Mindfulness Introduction

This is a 60 minute educational and experiential presentation that teaches the basic elements of Mindfulness. 

Children’s Mindfulness Introduction

This is a 60 minute session that introduces children to Mindfulness. This is a fun session that dips your child's toe into the wondrous world of Mindfulness.

Conscious Parenting Education Session

This is a 1 - 2 hour educational and experiential session that introduces parents to the concept of conscious parenting. Shefali Tsabary coined this term and has written and lectured extensively on this subject area. We parent differently when we shift the way we self observe.

Parent and Children (or Teen) Mindfulness Event

Come with your child (or Teen) and learn the basics of a Mindfulness practise. This is a 60 minute session that blends content with practise so you and your child (or Teen) will leave with a firm understanding of how you can start to play with Mindfulness in your own home.

Suicide Prevention Programs

SafeTALK Program

This is a 3.5 - 4 hour educational certificate program that trains you to understand the signs of suicide and teaches you what to do if you discover that someone is indeed feeling suicidal.

Cost: $55 per participant - includes materials

Suicide Prevention Talks

* For Teens

This is a one hour motivational presentation that works to destigmatize mental health issues - the objective is to help teens talk about their struggles, teach them how to regulate their emotions and manage distress. 

* For Parents

This is a one hour motivational presentation that educates parents on mental health issues and helps them to understand how to get through to their teens when they are in need of support and assistance.
